Tarantula Trucks were originally designed and built in Arizona but are now based in Southern California. Designed and built by an engineer and longboarder, they have been developed to be different and offer a unique riding experience. After 5 years of research and development Tarantula Trucks finally received their patent (Patent # 7,484,741 B2 issued Feb. 3, 2009) and are now ready to go to market.
It has taken a small army of creative and supportive individuals who have helped Tarantula Trucks get to where they currently are. First off, I would like to thank the customers who have believed in our product and who have more importantly purchased a set of trucks. Your positive press and desire to ride Tarantula Trucks makes it all worth it. A big thanx is owed to my parents for their continuing support both emotionally and financially. Thanx for the use of your house and barn for storage and as a place to assemble Tarantula Trucks. To my Wife and CFO Kendra, you have helped this company progress and grow to lengths I could not have imagined possible. I love you with all my heart. Matt L., through your countless hours of number crunching and Auto Cad work you enabled me to make my vision a reality. Without your extensive knowledge of engineering and metal fabrication Tarantula Trucks would not exist. Mike C., your experience with machining helped refine our trucks into a professional and polished product, many thanx to you as well sir. A giant thank you to Jon H. and Dan C. for being my test riders and Street Team members. You have helped spread the word about our product and your continuing dedication is much appreciated. Now keep trying to break those trucks and we will keep making them better.
Wyatt R. and JP, you two are close friends and great videographers/editors, through your camera lenses you have given the public a close up and sometimes painful view of Tarantula Trucks. There are more works to come in the future and I thank you for those and the ones we have already created. Chad B. and Jordan Z. you two have also shown the world another aspect of Tarantula Trucks through your still photography, using you keen eyes you have both given the world a new perspective about us. Liza B. your design skills never cease to amaze me and neither does your kindness, thanx to you we have been able to brand and label this company. Teresa C., thank you for pulling some strings and helping to get people to take notice and ultimately write the article. Another huge thank you goes to Josh and Kelli, owners of Awthentik Graphics. You have helped with the vision of the company and given it an amazing webiste, stickers, banners and ideas. Ryan M., your continuing work on the website keeps us up to date and running smoothly, keep up the good work.
Michael Brooke and Concrete Wave Magazine, thanx for having faith in a small company with a big vision, your advice and knowledge is priceless. The Valley News, NewsNet, The Californian and The Discovery Channel Canada, thanx to you this company is being seen far and wide and loving every second of airtime you will give us. Bob F. you have always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and a mentor to boot, thank you for the positive support. Mike A. you were there in the early stages, really early I think you took some wood off of Moses’ ark to make your self a board, thanx for the input and the introduction to ASR. To all of my friends who have worn t-shirts, rocked stickers on their car and spread the good word you are an important and awesome aspect of the company. Thank you so much for the support, you will never know how much it means to us. And finally to all the haters, the harder you hate, the harder we work.
Sincerely,
Jack Kay, CEO of Tarantula Trucks
